About Me

I’ve opted to throw my hat in the ring and run for City Council in District 4 to help residents of Chelsea after having lived in the community for the past ten years.  As a renter I fell in love with this diverse little city so much so that I purchased my house here in 2017.  No easy task with costs rising but I had my heart set on continuing to call Chelsea home and after a year and a half of searching and unaccepted offers, I finally found my home.

In 2021, I made my first step in trying to assist our community by volunteering for the Chelsea Licensing Commission.  Hoping my 20+ years of management in the hospitality industry may help the commission and city in some way.  Fellow commissioners elected me the Chairperson in 2022 and I’ve continued learning more about how our city works in that role.

One of my largest goals is to improve communication between the residents and the city.  I constantly hear complaints that residents don’t feel heard and aren’t receiving follow-up when they reach out for assistance.  In addition, during my time on the Licensing Commission, I have learned that there are tons of wonderful things being done by our city that only a few know about.  I want to assist in bridging this gap.  

As an individual who has worked my way up through the restaurant industry after going to a vocational high school for culinary arts, I understand hard work.  Living on my own since 18 years old, I understand the stress of rising costs.  

I am an advocate for affordable housing and would love to see this become more focused on homeownership in our community.  

Several people have told me over the years that I have a servant’s heart which is what has assisted me in my hospitality career.  I would now like to use that heart to do my part and assist our great little city.
